Once you enter Tau Divinity University (TDU), you start to live a distance education system online, and usually in intensive mode. Distance education is a form of teaching in which students do not need to physically attend the place of study. In this teaching system, the student receives the study material (personally, by email or other possibilities offered by the Internet), allowing new techniques and learning strategies focused on the student to be used in the educational act, thus promoting the self-study and self-management, self-directed education, whose main tools are communication and information technologies. The learning developed with the new technologies of the communication is called electronic learning ("elearning" in English), without forgetting at any moment the academic quality.

Pre-degree, Master's and doctorate study plans that are managed entirely online and therefore admitted students may do it from their country or place of residence. Participants must have a knowledge of English at the school level or their willingness to perfect it. Although some of the documents to study could appear in English, all the instruction, exercises and exams will be taught in Spanish. Each student will be assigned an Academic Assistant to the Academic Staff, who will assist at all times by email; and that prepares you undergraduate for a variety of graduate programs, as well as a variety of occupations. Distance learning is a certain and reasonable process that occurs when the instructor and the student in space and time are separated from each other. The educational process of TAU DIVINITY UNIVERSITY (TDU), includes the personalized evaluation of training needs, design of the academic program, prescription of the didactic resources (textbook-study guides) for each independent research course, monographs (report of research) and degree work, advisory services, guidance, norms and methodological procedures, academic monitoring, evaluations and high-quality open Internet education system regulated in accordance with codes of ethics of distance education. We evaluate both the effectiveness of the academic programs we offer, as well as the achievements of our students and use the results to improve academic and institutional quality, including:

Our Programs are structured in independent research courses, in the student's own environment, in order to focus the student's attention on the theory and the fundamental profile of the course, as the case may be. Active and intensive courses, in which the admitted student acquires, discovers and recycles the fundamental knowledge and practices, which endows him with the knowledge indispensable for the organization of his intellectual work and the written communication of thought, as well as redirecting his attitudes and habits concerning the specialty through the study, analysis, conceptualization and the realization of research reports, in a symbiosis between practice and theory that implies their participation in their own training, through their direct intervention applying the methodology tools and research techniques with the level of study (bachelor, master, doctorate), offering opportunities to exchange successful experiences, lessons learned and best practices of their discipline, as well as in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
 
Our program pursues the following qualities: To maintain a qualified registry and an adequate infrastructure for virtual education. Provide continuous academic support through professors-facilitators-jury evaluators specialized in distance higher education and the different religious specialties, with good technology management. Strengthen the digital competence of the students and offer alternatives for learning and practices, among others. Promote self-regulation of the student against the efficient use and management of time as well as the need to review their Internet consumption and adjust it to the needs of study and research, since a good part of the study time will be consumed in front of a computer.

In the development of our curriculum, Plagiarism will not be tolerated under any circumstances and is the cause of immediate termination and dismissal of the study program - all paid funds will be forfeited. No exceptions will be made. The word of the committee will be unappealable. Appropriate student behavior is expected to be in line with the mission statement of the university, methodology and standards of study, and the academic excellence required by TDU.

THE INDEPENDENT STUDY AT Tau Divinity University:

Independent study in TDU, is a process aimed at the formation of an autonomous student capable of learning to learn; it consists of developing abilities for the study, to establish goals and educational objectives based on the recognition of the weaknesses and strengths of the individual, which will respond to the needs and expectations of each one. This implies the possibility for each student to make their own decisions regarding the organization of their time and their learning pace. Independent studies provide students with opportunities to explore their deepest interests and make important decisions about how and where they will direct their talents in the future. The following aspects should be considered within the independent study: Motivation, Planning and Study Techniques.

EVALUATION SYSTEM:

The learning evaluation pursues to verify the achievements of each student and its performance in the study and research program.

The learnings evaluation shall be performed through a reporting system by Internet, that the student must draft and present to TDU, for each finished independent research course, ending with the Thesis, of Mastery or Doctorate, according to the academic program in which was admitted.

The evaluation system of the educative process covers the following three academic criteria: How the student presents and organize the required works. How adapt the work to the theoretical framework and praxis, what is the student contribution, its comments and opinions, drafting quality and contents presentation, enabling the student to integrate the study course with the religious praxis.

Our evaluations have internal codes of the Commission which carried out each evaluation. Instead of the personal position of a teacher, each evaluation issued is an institutional appreciation, in which process the assessments predominate under the double-blind method. (Double-blind method is a tool of the scientific method that is used to prevent the results of a research, being influenced by the placebo effect or by the bias of the observer. Blind research is an important tool in many research fields, from Medicine to Psychology, and from the Social Sciences to Forensic Science.

Honors Program:
Student that have maintained high grades from 3.71, deserves the graduation with honors.  Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, Suma Cum Laude:
3.91-4.00 GPA, Summa Cum Laude
3.81-3.90 GPA, Magna Cum Laude
3.71-3.80 GPA, Cum Laude

CERTIFICATION: The degrees and certifications conferred by TDU are valuable and necessary credentials to accredit their education and academic record, either through our programs or through the transfer of credits from other institutions. Each of the titles comes completely in English since they are issued in the United States of America. Each title delivered has a registration number of TDU in addition to being duly notarized and apostilled in the State of Florida, which proves its validity and legality in all aspects. Consular legalization is only for those countries that are not signatories of the Hague Convention. It has all the respective stamps and the signatures of the legal representatives of the University. These titles are sent by certified international courier to the address indicated by each graduate.

THE FACULTY:

Since entering TDU, each student has a team of faculty advisors and evaluators of the Academic Committee, qualified in the level and specialty of the specific program, which will guide you in understanding the rules, guidelines and written instructions received by each student at start of each course and for the degree work, which will answer your questions through e-mail, providing you with additional information and assessing your learning.

The Faculty is composed of a Committee of Teachers - Facilitators - Examiners and Jury qualified in the disciplines we teach, supervised by the Faculty Director. They give support and evaluate the entire online research-learning process of the student, until completing the study program (undergraduate, masters and doctorate), the research reports, the thesis, and the production of publications or research paper, as appropriate. .

In the educational task, they carry out a sustained follow-up of the learning, which motivates them in the activities, analysis, conceptualization, orientation, solving the doubts and guiding the learning with appropriate orientations and accompaniment.

When students require advice or guidance, they must request it by e-mail.

TRANSFER OF CREDITS:

TAU DIVINITY UNIVERSITY (TDU), will accept credits from duly recognized institutions, followed by a review by the Academic Dean, once the Admission Commission issues the result of the possible credits to be validated. In order to transfer credits from another institution to TDU, the official transcripts and descriptions of the courses must be presented for review to the satisfaction of the Admissions Commission of the University, who will inform the student about recognized or feasible credits of validation. and the amount of credits that must be completed and approved in TDU to obtain the degree, there are restrictions.

Credits for the Life Learning Experience: the recognition of life experience and informal studies requires the support and detailed report, review and approval of the Admission Commission of TDU, there are limits and restrictions.

TDU does not assist in placing its graduates in churches or other jobs, nor does it offer Licenses or ministerial ordinations.

The acceptance of the transfer of credit from TDU to another university or institution is at the discretion of the transfer school or employer.
